She invited us to go outside and sit on their patio and she brought our tastings out to us. Methven Family Vineyards is one of the few who grown them and in fact sell them to other producers in the region. The Winery and tasting room was built in the summer of 2007 and finished just in time for harvest. Those cheap wines did provide some good “back when we were poor” stories though.With that said we don’t usually care for dessert Riesling. The facilities were very nice and the staff was very friendly and enjoyable. They are offering high quality, flavorful wine. People on the patio were obviously over served which created less than an enjoyable experience. Brass® delivering enhanced The ambiance was perfect.
Shanna was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot! Having the option to incorporate one last stop, before calling it a night, was welcoming. Everything was delicious. 10,000 sq ft Tuscan villa on 102 acre vineyard, rolling hills, exceptional views, 5 fireplaces, 2 full kitchens, home theatre, sauna, 2 hot tubs, library, 5 large balconies/patios.
