Resort has 6 very nice motel rooms and a 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom cabin for rent. The rooms are small with two double beds, we all brought our own bedding and pillows. Not a ritzy place, just a local casual place to stay. Big Musky Resort is perfect for family vacations year-round. My mother is picky as are several of my other family members so I was really nervous inviting everyone. Docked our boat, had a patio looking out over lake, just a great time. The residents of the trailer homes at the Big Musky are the "Best People in the North Woods".Look this isn't the Ritz, its a small resort with about 6 hotel type rooms and two cabins. We stayed couple years ago during the winter for snowmobiling and liked it then. I've have stayed at this resort several times for fishing and last year we booked most of the resort for a family get together. These rooms have patio doors...The Big Musky resort is not a chain hotel/motel resort. The Big Musky is right on the trail for ATVing and snowmobiling.
Over four stories tall and as long as a Boeing 757, it is the biggest thing in a very small town. The two bedroom cabin was very clean, I was waiting for my mom to complain but she really liked it. Great views of the lake and we had campfires in the fire pit every night. restaurants within 10 minutes of resort.Rooms are in small motel and you take one facing north to the lake.
Our room was comfy and clean, the beds were most comfortable. Great fish cleaning station across from motel. The three rooms facing the water all have cement patios with picnic tables and brand new charcoal grills but we brought our own grill. Hayward, Wisconsin.
