The new, world class Sand Valley Golf Course is just 8 miles away. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and relax in the woods I would highly recommend this place. Lots of insects, but that's what one expects in nature -- after all, they outnumber us by thousands to one. The Cottage at Deep Lake is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home located within a short walk to the lake and within the beautiful, serene, Deep Lake Campground. This could really fit just about anyone's needs. Very secluded, yet tons of activities to keep the kids busy - swimming, kayaking, games and a little loft that our 3 and 6 year old kids loved hanging out in! The cabin is located five minutes south of the Wisconsin River/Petenwell Lake and five minutes north of Castle Rock Lake, the second and fourth largest lakes in Wisconsin.

Everything was as expected and very clean. Adorable black squirrels, and at least one family of deer on the property.

There are so many places to hang out from the basement, the garage, the upper deck, the enclosed upper deck, the fire pit, etc.
Limited camping and RV parking available.“It was hard to believe but the cabin exceeded our expectations. The location felt fairly secluded (despite the owners living on the same property) and was a short drive to Petenwell Lake or a 20min drive from the nearest town.

Even though the pictures are beautiful, we were pleasantly surprised that it was even nicer in person! Part of the Lake Arrowhead golf community, this spacious vacation rental is just right for a family reunion, a corporate event or a getaway with friends. A nature lovers dream with a shared pond and the Little Yellow River flowing in the back yard. Cabin is rustic but clean and new. Still a 5 star rating but one thing to note: if you are a bigger group, I would recommend bringing some cups. ATV trails abound.
